Re: Straight dual pipes
To each his own. I prefer the mellow rumble of Smitty's. Going through town today with the top down hearing the echo bounce off of the building walls from my flathead V-8 brings back fond memories of the days of my youth.
Don’t forget the pennies in the heat risers. My two cents worth! Shadetree

Shadetree - $.02 is right. One for each side! Be sure to install with heads up (for luck).

Re: Straight dual pipes
I ran straight shorties on a shovel-head 1340 for 18 years with no valve damage. Sold it 6 years ago and they're still on it. (can't hear so good anymore tho!)
