Default Is this a 41 car part?

Lots of accumulating parts over the years for my 46 and I do not know if this is one of the 41 parts or if it was in one of the parts cars I purchased.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

No, it's not '41. It appears to be '46-'48 lower radiator shield.

It is for 1946-48. It bolts flat and horizontal as your picture is. It goes in front of the radiator.

Thanks guys, does anyone need a 46-8 splash shield? I thought I sold off all my 46-8 spare parts but this one was in with my 41 stuff. I have another one someone sold me as a 41 and is not also. Maybe I should post a picture of that one also and see If someone can ID that one.

It appears to be a 1941 Mercury radiator splash pan.

It's not 41 Mercury. I have a 41 Mercury pan on my shelf and it doesn't look like that.

Might not be but the illustration in the 1938-'46 Ford Mercury parts book dated Jan 1946 shows the exact image of this part p/n 19A8240 as used on 1941 Mercury. I'm giving this just as a reference.

I have not done much with this part since receiving it. Is there a location on this that should have a number? Metal is pretty solid, just surface rust.
Thanks.

No, you won't find a number on the metal. Even new parts only had a paper tag wired to the part with the P/n.

Thanks Gary, I usually look for a number before asking a question like this but I did not remember looking. Then again I did take the pictures two weeks ago and forgot to post the question.
