I hate these multi-part series on "YouTube". Just when you get interested, you can' find the next installment.

Installed an 8BA flathead in a 1952 Henry J back in the late 50's.
You could buy complete engines for less than $50 then.

WHERES THE BEEF!

I like the idea, but Three videos and still no flathead engine in the car? Probably take about 10 installments to be done. Where’s the rest of it?

could not tell you how many metropolitans were robbed of their engines to run in MG's
could buy them for $100, take out the engine and sell the leftovers for $50 we were having fun and no thought were given to metro's

Talk about a flawed concept. Road racing and slaloms with a flat V8 in that?!

as they say it never happened without pictures of proof. Keep on taking those drugs guy.
Poor old Datsun will get squashed with 600 odd pounds of flathead and wimpy drum brakes.

There’s a guy up here with a 53? Chevy truck with a 351 Ford in it! At least the distributors easy to get too.

A ford coyote motor would be interesting too. Maybe a electric getup.

Why not a flathead. A supra motor would be a obvious line. But lot's of motors to choose from.

Interesting

There is a 57 Olds around here with a Ford engine, not a flathead though. Under the hood it says the heartbeat that Chevy wishes they had. Why?
