What mounts the pivoting ashtray with the V8 embossing in the 36 waterfall.
I need that piece or an idea of what it looks like, so I can fab one up. |

The rotating ash tray is 35 it is held to the dash by a semi circular plate screwed to the rear of the ash tray with one screw through the rear of the ash tray frame

The '36 dash does not rotate, unlike the '35 version. It is a typical pull down unit with the knob at the top. The retainer bar for the '36 is similar to that shown in Terry's photo for a '35, but the shape is a squared off U shape, not curved, with offset ends. I don't have a photo handy, but surely someone herein does and will share it with us.
