Hi Bill, I went to the link you posted in your 2nd to last post. (2015 on line catalog)
I then went to page 4. At the top of page 4 are Application notes. Each one is preceded by a black dot. It is at the end of the 5th note. |

OK, my mistake for scrolling down too fast and not reading the Application Notes at the top of the catalog page 4.

Never even considered Pertronix. Wasn't impressed when they were called
Perlux and they were made in the USA, let alone present day. Too many issues on Mustangs and Galaxies, etc. On the flathead I'm running an old Hays reluctor and Mallory pickup coil in the distributor, which is triggering a Mallory points eliminator module. |

They offer a 6Volt unit for the Model A and 9N ,it needs the correct coil .They recommend the use of the 3.5 volt 9N coil this doesn't work and blows the module .Ted
