Default De burring the exhaust ports. How is it done?

What do you guys use to remove the (bad!) casting dags from inside the ports?
I put a long rotary file in there and the spindle hits the valve seat and the radius of the port before it gets to the dags. The only thing I can think of is a bigger diameter cutter.
I am talking about the exhaust ports here. How is it done please?

If you get Mike & Vern's new book, "How to Rebuild & modify the Ford Flathead V8", they go right into that topic with excellent photos of the stages of the work, and the tools your need to do it. Even I plan to do it on my 59L block, now that it has been carefully explained and illustrated. Often wondered about the mysteries of that process. You can get it direct from Mike & Vern, @ Tardell enterprises or Barnes & Noble and Amazon.

I have used 6 inch long rotary burrs, and worked from both ends of the ports.

Outside the mention of exhaust baffles, there is no mention that I could see about cleaning up of exhaust ports
