Default Sorry I was late showing up ...

Spent the morning chasing this down. First things first ....

It's still available if you want it. (How about all that whining about "changes" ... ain't this one helluva improvement????)

Here it is on Craigslist (CL) in Gainesville FL:

http://gainesville.craigslist.org/cto/1724181041.html

Substantial rust in rockers, lower doors, trunk etc. BUT a true "barn find" ... original engine, worn out interior. Would require lotsa sheet metal replacement. However the price is attractive for a talented body guy.

Ken,
Nice find.
I learned to drive in a '41 coupe with the bucket seats in the back. I grew up in that coupe as well. I loved to ride in the back and play with my toys in the tray under the rear window. Later on double dating was tough on the actioners in the back seat. One day we were chasing 3 lovlies and took out a tricolored Dodge that was in my blind spot. Our dear coupe had lead in the damaged area from a previous wreck so she got traded in on a 54 Merc rag top. Mother bought the little coupe new in 41. It was her ony new car as she always got Daddy's ever other year. Daddy was a slaeman and wore his cars out. Beginning in 1918, Daddy bought 25 straignt Fords, from mostly the same dealer. His last was a 55 tudor.

Clem, who had planned to keep the coupe forever.
