33 -34 woodgrain samples
here are more 33 34 woodgrain samples . I have quite a few of these and I find the color on some are bright and some are dark. first two are original 33. 3rd is original radio cover . 4 th & 5th are orig method 33 & 34 last is my 34 dash woodgraing

Here are some pics of original unrestored 1933 and 1934 Ford woodgrained dashes and the back of a 1933 glove box door that looks like it has a completely different pattern. These are Canadian cars so they may be different from US cars.

ford 33 I sure like your pictures. the 34 dash looks like what I have seen . the 33 is similar to some 33 I have seen. Thanks for posting

The first two of ford33's photos are reminiscent of the '32 grains which were a mixture of burl and straight grains depending on the time period and body style.
Mike, With respect, isn't that a '34 molding? |

David, it has "Oxford Varnish Corp 1-33" on the back. Would they have been making 34 garnish moldings in January of 33? Maybe a prototype?
