Default Power Antenna

Has anyone installed a Power Antenna on a 55 or 56 Ford sedan?
If so, what brand did you use? I'm a bit concerned about the amount of room
necessary below the fender top for the motor assembly.
Thanks
Jim

I used one like this on my '54 Ford it comes with several adapters to match the fender contours, had it in under an hour very compact unit. Powers up with the Pioneer deck. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-Ca...1%26rkt%3D1%26

that's what I used on my wagon make sure you get a compact unit and you will have to brace it on bottom it will fit behind the splash shield use the grommet for antenna for wiring most newer radios have an antenna output I also have that unit in my 64 ranchero
