>>1935 Rear Banjo: Can I stuff it with later gears?<<
Could I put a 1939 3.78 gearset into a '35 Ford Banjo without issues besides the Torque tube stuff? Would the axles work or would I have to get later axles as well?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

They go right in. You use the 35 axles, bells and the 35 side bearings. The bearings on the carrier are the same I think. I tried to use the later housing bearings and that sure did not work. I used the later center section housing. I believe the gears will interchange but someone more knowledgeable will pipe in.
