Default Finger Pull Color

Is it the screws that hold the fingerpulls on that are black or the fingerpulls themselves? These are on a 28 Roadster.

the judging Standards 15-10, say they were painted in 28-29

Very likely if yours are chrome, then they probably are reproduction.
