If you want some excellent shocks that look close to original, but are sealed and very well made, consider Stipe Shocks at the link below. I had mine tested and they came very close to original specs. Not cheap, but really good. If you want originals, that will be a bigger challenge.

Hello Kim,

thank you for the link to Mr. Stipe. Yesterday I contacted him for deliver time and shipment etc.

FYI:
Stipe shocks are NOT SEALED ... The plug can be removed and shocks refilled.

At least that is true of the two sets that I bought.

Benson, Thanks for the clarification.

Yes, I was generalizing. You can add fluid, but they don't leak, so it is "sort of" sealed? They can be adjusted for winter, summer. I like the look and feel of them. A quality product for a 90 year old car.

Hi,

I think there are 'Simmerings' mounted. I understod there gets no oil outside. These shocks must be leekproof.

Hello,

Stipe's shocks are on the way.

Ignition; I have the hand lever slightly narrower filed and also the lower limit on the teering. I shortened the connecting rod to the distributor a bit. Now my adjustment is -5 > +35 degrees. I think, that is enough.

Not really true, but it's a solvent.

Thanks at all for the helping hints!

Hello,

I have now solved the problem unusually. The previous adjustment also went with tricks (rod angle) not exceeding 30 °.

Now I have on the hand lever the lower downend to the stop plate filed a little slimmer. And also the stop plate ground down a bit.

Now I have an adjustment of about -5 to +35 degrees.

Thank you for the helping hints to the ignition adjustment by hand!
