Source needed for cheap seat covers
Remember those cheap plaid seat covers we used to be able to get from J.C.Whitney or similar sources?
A friend is looking to get set of them for his '41 Ford 2 door sedan but can't find any that would fit his split back seat. Horse blanket style, plaid or solid would work but he prefers to keep it 'old school' style. Does anyone know of a source for what he might be looking for? Thanks. |

Re: Source needed for cheap seat covers
I found some on eBay. They said they were for pickup trucks, but I bought them for my '51, as they were all I could find.
They didn't fit for shit, but did protect the nice original upholstery in my car, so until I can find something better, they'll do. I miss J.C. Whitney on many levels. |

Re: Source needed for cheap seat covers
I saw some of those on eBay & elsewhere but none I found had the split backs. By buddy is just looking to cover the worn out original upholstery in his car. It's a survivor car, never been restored so any covers would be okay as long as they fit the seat.

Re: Source needed for cheap seat covers
Just FYI. The ones I got are for split back seats (I have a club coupe).

Re: Source needed for cheap seat covers
Okay I did some more checking and another Ford bud sent me a link for them on eBay. Not exact but they are for split 50/50 seat backs so with some tugging & tucking, they might work for a '41 and others:
