Default How to clean speedometer decals

I have the speedo out of my 31 Tudor. It is in good shape, but the decals are stained. Is there some product that will clean without doing damage? Thanks ahead for the info.

Good luck. The original numbers were painted on and the paint is very crispy after 85+ years. Use a very mild cleaner like winded, sometimes alcohol will take the numbers off. Test the back side is the left most wheel see if it works.

Just replace the numbers. The major vendors sell them.

Tried windex. It was going to remove the paint. Since the speedo works I am just going to call the stain patina. It will match the rest of the car.
