Default heater

I need to install the hose fitting in the lower radiator hose on my 40 coupe. Any hints/instructions on how to "cut" the hose to install??
Thanks in advance for any help.

I place a block within the hose to support it. I then use a hole punch of a slightly smaller diameter than the diameter of the nipple.
DO apply Indian head Shellac to both sides of the fitting plates when doing the actual installation.
I trust you realize the nipple is NOT at the top of the hose. Rather, it is about 30° rotated to the right.

Maybe kind of lay out the hose routing before you stamp out the hole in the lower hose. You'll quickly see it (the nipple) needs to be rotated from the top - center.

Did mine recently and laid it out for best clearance at vee belt.
Ended up about 35 to 40 degrees from top vertical position.
