41 parking lights
Haven't seen 41 parking lights like this. Thought they were on the top of the fenders?

Re: 41 parking lights
They changed during the year. While I used to own a business coupe, like your Avatar I'm not sure which was early or late. I'm certain others will say.

Re: 41 parking lights
Could be wrong, but i've been told that early had 3 piece front fenders and late 2 piece fenders.

Re: 41 parking lights
Note the Mercury car spears on the top of the fenders where the parking lights are normally positioned. The parking light housing shown are also Mercury and may be the 1946 versions although it is hard to tell from the photographs.

Re: 41 parking lights
The 3 piece fender was discontinued very early, on 12/12/40 for the '41 vehicles. In January of '41, trim moldings became available to cover the joint between the fender top and bottom. I can't find any mention of the parking lights being changed to the '42 style.
