I think the addition of Ford bolts complements your existing business perfectly.

Folks you really need to check out Third Gen Automotive for all of your early Ford parts needs. The service is the best, prices are great, knowledge is off the charts. Support Michael and Jane at Third Gen Automotive. Their contribution to our hobby is invaluable.

Congratulations and best of luck Michael and Jane.

Best of luck Michael. You and your family are working hard to keep the spirit of the early Ford V-8 alive and on the road. Onward!

Along with post #40, cad plating is done by most of the older propeller overhaul repair stations. There are so many parts that were originally cadmium plated that most all of them do it. The only problem is that many only use type II cadmium processes which has more of a gold finish than the type 1 silver finish. There is bound to be an outfit somewhere in Tennessee that can do the work you need though.

Is there black cadmium plating? All of the bolts I've ever bought from Roy were a satin black color.

That's what Ford designated as its S-2 finish, namely black oxide with an oil coating. The cadmium plating fasteners that Roy offered were plated with so-called white cadmium, the same as Ford used during the period. It was used originally for intake manifold and water pump bolts and washers, body to frame fasteners, glove box fasteners, etc.
