I like this 1935 Ford. My Uncle had one just like it. Thanks for the pics.

Here is a photo of the car the way I first saw it, and the car on a trailer with the former owner about 5 years later. Beneath the coupe under the blue tarp was a '32 roadster (not for sale)

That is an amazing picture. Can't believe that a pair of 1932 Fords were stored in this shed? Thanks for posting.

I took this photo of the two cars when we were finally able to open the garage door. Sorry - I do not know how to enlarge the photo. On the left side of the photo you can see the N.O.S. 3 window deck lid that was placed inverted on top of the 3 window in an attempt to keep rain water from the leaking roof off the car.

tommymdot, Beautiful, simply beautiful. Great pics of the "as found" and with the previous owner, epic!

Adding: I think I spoke with you while you were changing a carb. I hope I expressed appropriate appreciation!

Tommy, thank you for following up with information and pictures of your '32 3w. That's an amazing find that most of us can only dream about doing. I hope to see that '32 again and meet you next year at the Central National Meet in Auburn, IN. Should be a great show field and celebration for the completion of the addition to Foundation Museum.

You’ve done a great job with your 32 3W Tom! I told you these guys were Gaga over your car. I’m glad you were able to show it this year. As John suggested, I hope you can drive or bring it along next year to Auburn Meet. There’s quite a few others driving their 32s to these meets.

I could not have done it without my friends. It took three days for us to get the roadster out of the way, get the 3 window down, and clear a path to the street. Good friends are the best part of this hobby! To answer some of the other questions, The engine in the car was not a '32 engine and it was stuck. I rebuilt an LB block and did not paint it so it would match the rest of the car. The gears in the transmission were broken, so I transferred the gear set from a good transmission to the original 3 window case so all the numbers would still match. I completely rewired the car, installed a stainless exhaust, and rebuilt the brakes. I slit the old exhaust pipe and wrapped it around the new stainless pipe so the exhaust system looks old and crusty. I also left some of the old wires hanging to make it appear that the old wires were still in use. I could not get any coil to run longer than 10 miles, so I always carried a couple of spares to get me home. Thankfully, I finally sent two coils to Skip in Florida and I can run forever now!
The last photo shows the car at the Old Car Festival at Green Field Village in Dearborn. I had just gotten the car running and drove it there on the same tires that were on it in 1957 with no problems. It took two coils to get me there, and two coils to get home. We had a great time!
Thanks for your interest. I have debated whether or not to restore this car - I guess I'll leave it as it is.

It would be a sin to restore that car....Are those the original 18 inch wheels?

I really like reading the story you have wrote about the 32. They are only original once. Like a virgen. My 32 is a mixture of 32, 3 window parts. Keep the stories and pictures coming.
