Jeff, thanks for posting my Dearborn GNM concourse photos. It would have taken me hours to download those from my camera, and then resize them for posting here. I have many more pictures taken at the meet and during our tours. Plus pics from Motor Muster, Crawford and Gilmore Museums, and the Foundation Museum.

Thank you for posting ALL the cars and trucks in the show. This gives a idea on all you to see what was there. The National Meet I always enjoy going to wherever it is. Next year it is in Auburn so I hope to be there with one of my Junkers if I can get it running.

Redneck,

What are you feeding those hogs? They are ready for market. Bring the pork chops to Auburn please!

Add my thanks to Very Tangled for sharing the great photos. Petehoovie with you 100% on black wall tires, why anyone thinks whitewall tires look good with wire wheels I'll never understand, totally kills the car IMO.

Chuck, I was hoping to get together with you and Kathie sometime during the show to chat for awhile, but never saw you two again after our brief meet up. Would be great if we can meet up in Auburn next year or maybe do a driving tour together before Auburn. I miss those Barner's tours like we did in the past.

Mercman, it was nice meeting you and your wife at Dearborn.
That 32 3w was definitely a favorite at the '18 GNM. Other than making that car a mechanically safe driver, I would leave it just as found.

What an incredible car! Does anyone know how long ago and where it was discovered by the lucky person? I agree with John, make it safe and leave it be.

Love to see the inside of the 32. Hope someone knows the history of the car. What a wonderful find. What was the original color do you know? Who found the car?

Ken,

Each time I went by the car the hood was closed and the owner not present so I can't say for sure regarding the engine's vintage, but based on Trevor's photo, the circumstantial evidence (cavity on front of block and oil pan/dipstick) suggests that it is a '35 or '36 engine with a '32 fan.

The car was 'found' a couple of years ago in a Detroit garage, as I recall.

I just spoke to Tom Miller, the owner of the ‘32. He is a past member of the Dearborn RG. He bought the car in 2013. That fella towed it home to Detroit, damaged the trans, and it sat since ~ 1957. The 33-34 block was seized, so he replaced that and rebuilt the trans. Tom won a Rouge award for the interior.

He was not around much cause he’s working, in addition, he & his wife were on Antiques Road Show filming Thursday morning. He drove the 32 in to the Edward Hotel for the meet, and drives it to work once a week or so.

He was very complimentary of the GNM in Dearborn and how well organized the meet was. He was also tickled to hear of the interest in his ‘32 3 window!
