Default Carb repair

I am getting ready to put a set of 94's on a 4 banger and need them rebuilt. I had the card of a fellow in SC that does this but lost it. Can anyone here help me find him?

Jim,
Might be Rudy Faltermeier.....864 463 6052. Rudy is in SC.
It's been my experience that the '92' version of the FORD 94 works best
on a 2x2 setup such as you propose.

Actually Charlie, I have 2 different 94's. One is marked 94 on the front and the other is marked 1 1/16. One has a vacuum port open and the other has the port but it is not functional. Which is which?

James, the 94 is for Ford 85, the 1 1/16 is Lincoln Zephyr. I agree with Charlie in that the model 92 carb is the one you need. That carb is marked 81 at the location of those numbers you cite from the other two carbs. Those numbers refer to the actual size in decimal inches of the venturi in each carburetor. The 60hp Ford takes a model 92 carb. Two of these would serve better than the ones in your possession, but good luck finding them!

I know one of these carbs came off an unmolested 51 Ford 8BA I got from my uncle a few years ago. The other is just one I got somewhere.

No Holley/Ford "94" flathead carburetor had an inch and sixteenth venturi. The Lincolns had a one inch (not inch/sixteenth) venturi. The larger inch, inch/sixteenth, and inch/eighth came on the y-blocks.

James, Take advantage of that offer from Charlie ny. This gentleman knows his carbs, and 92's aren't exactly common.

You're right, of course. I knew it wasn't a 94, and just assumed it was a Zephyr. So tell me... what's a Y block?
