Default 1930 Standard Roadster

At each upper corner of the opening for the rumble seat, near the rubber bumpers, are small plates approximately 1" x 2". These plates are attached by a counter sunk bolt and appear to be made from aluminum. Are these original, or something that was added later?

These are alignment plates to help guide the rumble lid into place as it is closed. Most parts dealers list them in their catalogs. They were original.

Thank you for letting me know. It is hard to do some things here in Mexico when there are not other cars, or knowledgeable Model A enthusiasts around.
