Default Mitchell overdrive in '36 pickup

Finally installed the 36% Mitchell overdrive in my '36 pickup over the Thanksgiving weekend. Easy installation, took my time, removed rear wheels and completed over 4 day Holiday weekend. I opted for the "under the dash mount" that I machined out of one piece of aluminum. Push/Pull handle clears swan by about 4" when Transmission is in Reverse. I like the look of the swan gear shift lever and didn't think the Push/Pull handle (solid tubing straight portion) looked good with the swan, also did not want to disturb my new floorboard and transmission cover for optional thru floor mount stick shift lever.

It looks like you are doing a wonderful job on the truck. What ratio is your rear end?

I had problems with the cable shift not making a good shift into overdrive so Mitchel sent me the shift linkage with floor shift. Worked great after that.

I used the floor shift lever on my 38. Personally I like it. Put a early knob on it and painted the shaft black. Looks like old 4wheel setup. Great setup these units are. So far no issue (2yrs).

Might be the only picture on hand I have is the frame shot. later post.

I'll snap a picture tomorrow if I think of it.

1936 Ford Pick Up; You did a great job. That Mitchell looks great. Really like your "push pull" handle.
Can you post photos of where the OD cables run from the unit itself right up along the path to the push pull handle?
