Default Best deal for 1948-1950 F1 bed

I'm looking to buy a bed for my F1 and am trying to find whats the best deal for me. I live in Rhode Island so every used bed I come across is rotted to bits. If anyone has a suggestion as to who to go through please let me know. I need stepside fenders too and don't know if fiberglass or steel is the way to go. If anyone can help me with where to go for those as well it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Contact Glenn Sanders here on the Ford Barn or 1-301-514-5017. He is in Maryland and has a good supply of F1 parts and sheet metal. He will also be at the spring Carlisle.

If you want a new bed contact Midwest Early Ford in Ohio at 1-800-543-5035 or Mack Products in Missouri at 1-660-263-7444. Both make the beds here in the U.S.

Remember there is a difference between 48-49 and 50 beds and rear fenders

IMO the best beds are from Mar-K, www.mar-k.com.

Not sure about what best deal is..
But http://www.horkeyswoodandparts.com/index.php has the parts as a flatpack or they assemble your box for you.
Very nice people to deal with and you can get your wood just about any way you can dream up.

Hard to beat Mack Hills in Missouri. I don't know about F1 beds but my 32 bed was right on. Quality was excellent.

I bought one for my fathers 49 from Midwest early ford. We were very impressed with the quality. It took us 8 hrs to assemble. Make sure you practice riveting on some scrap metal. Awesome bed when done. Joe
