Default Need help. 8cm with crab dist.

I need help.


I have a 8cm with a crab dist going into a 28 roadster.


Would like to run wide belt pumps ,but which ones do I need to clear the dist?

It's going to be close. The 28/29 has the least amount of room in the engine bay area from front to rear. If you are going to run a crab, you can convert to the 59A set up in the front. The cam has to change though, by replacement or modification. The timing gears can be traded out to get the thrust the same and you can use the 37 up type water pumps. You can even use the 59 series heads if two coolant ports are plugged. There is a lot of stuff on the HAMB about AV8 conversions as well as the Bishop/Tardel book.
