Default 37 Tudor subrail Question

I have replaced the sub rails and floor. There was nothing left of the sub rails. Question is there supposed to be something behind the B pillar and between seat area to support the quarter panel board ? Gotta be some thing or you could kick the panel board in. Picture shows the area in question. Thanks Zeke

No. The backer panel when the upholstery is on should be about 1/8th off the floor pan. If I'm reading the photo correctly.
