Default 1949 shoebox

I have a stock flatly and am thinking about dual exhaust with glass packs. Has anyone done this that could send me a video so I have a idea as to how it will sound?

Like the old TV commercial said : "Try it, you'll like it!"

Sound differs depending on what mufflers you have.

My '41 has Red's headers, I like the sound, I'd record the noise but it's up on blocks and the battery's stored away. Lots of videos on you tube of sweet sounding flatties.

Easy to get too loud for driving. I like cast iron headers and turbos or at least porters.

Personally I wish my truck was a bit quieter for driving. Fentons and basic resonators. Really needs something better, a better muffler.

And , how close to the manifolds/headers you mount them . The closer , the louder !
