Front wheels offset
Hi Guys,
Since fitting the new 16" wheels to my pickup I have noticed the R/H side hub cap is sitting just outside of the guard, while the L/H side is in by an inch or so. I have done some quick rough calculations and I believe the difference between the wheels and their guards is around 1.5 inches. But I also found that my L/h guard is wider by around 1/2" possibly because of the spare tyre holder. Can anyone please confirm the spare tyre guards are wider? Also can anyone please help me figure out what might've shifted in the front end that would've moved the wheels over? My uneducated guess is the front spring has slid across on the cross member? Thanks in advance Steve |

Re: Front wheels offset
When you are measuring use hard surfaces like a point on the frame to a point on the back plate, body parts can and have been moved by crashes and rashes. Your light bar looks like it is off center also

Since I posted this someone suggested to me that the 16" rims could have different offsets.. I haven't had a chance to have a look at mine in the garage.. But does anyone know for a fact that there was different offset options? Thanks in advance Steve |
