Default 62 Years With The Merc

I made this video a couple of years ago to mark 60 years since my dad brought home the "new to us" 52 Mercury. I might just take it out for a drive today.

Love your Merc, Ralph, gives me warm memories of the ‘53 my Dad had.
When are you going to get the Merc pickup going?

Thanks for the ride along. It sure looks dangerously dry.

I know its been almost exactly 6 years since I hauled the Merc truck home and the engine has been soaking in various remedies ever since. With zero movement on the crankshaft. It does not get the attention it deserves as my farming hobby takes some of my time plus I was not expecting the Mustang and Eldorado to come under my care this spring either. Never a dull moment though.

In that video it was not at all dry. Notice the camera man following on the quad was not enveloped in a choking cloud of road dust. Unlike this past summer when it was actually so dry and dusty on the roads that I avoided driving on them sometimes.
