55 56 Ford fuel gauge

Any recommendations on aftermarket fuel gauge and sending unit kits that will go under dash for a 12 volt 55 56 ford car? Stewart warner Auto Meter or what ever. That will also fit the tank. Part numbers would be a great help.

I had a SunPro fuel gauge and sender in my car. The fuel gauge was always fluctuating while in motion. When the sender became erratic, I replaced it with a Autometer sender to match the Sunpro gauge. I now have a steady, accurate fuel reading. Just my experience, your mileage may vary.

I have all Sunpro gauges in my roadster. The only one that doesn't work is the fuel gauge. Replaced and modified the sender twice. Still doesn't work. I guess you get what you pay for!
