First the camera needs to be set to the least number of pixels. Newc

Posting a photo is often a file size issue. Phones, tablets, digital cameras almost always take photos up in the megabyte range and a posted jpg file needs to be around 500 kilobytes or less. You most likely need to use a program to reduce the file size.

To get a smaller photo suitable to add to Ford Barn, add the large photo to an email that you send to yourself. When you hit send, it will say if you want to send "Cancel Resizing" or "Reset". Hit "Reset" and the email will send to yourself with the small picture. Then you can save this small picture and add to where you want it. Give this a try. Regards Mercman <><

Or you can just use the program 'Paint' if you have a windows computer. There's an option to resize your photo and then save.

I use photo editor from Axiem on my iPad, mine is the free version, just have to put up with a few ads. I choose a picture and crop it to just the size I need and save it. I have no problems uploading the edited version.

You don't "send" it, you use the program (in this case the Barn) to connect to the device, you locate the file (photo) you want to post, and select it.

Try this to 'send' the pic from your device to the site.
Open user 'CP' page and follow steps to 'send' a properly sized pic.

I thought that the file was 'sent' from your device to the site to be posted

Well, maybe it's just how you look at it. To me that's not how it works, the program online connects to your computer files, you select the photo you want to move over and the program moves it. It may just be how it is worded and some look at it differently, I don't know. I have a hard time seeing how your device could send it unless you had an address to send it to.

Ipad. Need around a 900 pixel image either width or height to post images. jpg best to convert on the site here.

Avatars are less, 160 by 160 pixels or 19.5 KB. Square image is best.
