Vendors...Pricing & Quality ?
I'm looking for some parts(wants on FB), while looking through some
vendors catalogs I noted this, Bratton's & Sacramento Vintage, PN 35340 & 1029-10, $ 56.10 VS 39.95.....is there a difference in quality? Also noted, the sleeves for repairing the rear axles(at the hubs) $ 15.99 to 60.00 from C&C( I think) each ! Has anybody ever Rockwell tested these? Quality? Any thoughts, Dudley |

Re: Vendors...Pricing & Quality ?
Bratton's,,,, We buy as many U.S. MADE parts as possible ! That might have something to do with the price of parts. Plus you are out in CA. [Sacraento Vintage] is your neighbor. Not saying anything is wrong with their parts but remember shipping cost too !! Anything shipped west of the Miss. river is DOUBLE postage! Check with BERT'S [Steve never steered me in the wrong direction when it came to parts. ] He's gold in my books.

Re: Vendors...Pricing & Quality ?
I have nothing against Sacramento Vintage as they are my neighbors also, but pricing seems to be best thru Snyders on most stuff. When I order, I just order enough stuff to make the shipping worth it.

Re: Vendors...Pricing & Quality ?
I have purchased a lot of stuff from both Bert's and Brattons. I have been VERY satisfied with both Vendors. Both have been VERY helpful and knowledgable, seem to have a good stock and ship fast.

Re: Vendors...Pricing & Quality ?
I like Bert's in Denver. Their pricing is in line or lower than other vendors and they know what they are talking about. They know the good parts vs bad parts that aren't worth purchasing. This is more important to me than saving a few bucks on marginal parts. I may be partial since I live in Denver and get to visit their shop for advice etc... but I highly recommend them!

Re: Vendors...Pricing & Quality ?
I agree with buying from the top vendors mentioned here, but always wondered why they never offer us a % discount coupon once in a while. CC

Re: Vendors...Pricing & Quality ?
I just made a order to Snyder's on a Sunday night using the Internet. I received my order on Tuesday by FedEx. Can't beat the service and timing. Of course they are in Ohio and I am in Michigan.

I think we are fortunate to have so many good dealers to choose from.

Re: Vendors...Pricing & Quality ?
The others are fine but Bert's is best in my book. They know about A's and always treat me fairly. Everything I bought from them works and fits.
