Question Where and how to mount disconnect switch in Tudor without new holes in metal.

My car is 6v positive ground, and I've decided fit a disconnect switch on the cold side (the positive ground side).

First question, what size wires should I use from the battery to the switch and then to ground? 1/0 AWG (0 gauge) thick enough?

I already have these parts for the job:

I don't want to make any new holes in metal and I want the switch in easy reach inside the car so I'm thinking of installing it on the center floorboard under the front seats; although I'm unsure what the best way to do so is.

Your thoughts?

Mine is installed on the lower side of the steering column I believe or somewhere near there. No problems yet and no new holes. It is also right in line with the battery cables making it very easy to splice it in.

Mine's mounted on the cross member so I only have to poke my finger through a hole in the floor to work it. It's just about invisible!

Hiding it adds a layer of theft deterrent..

Mines in the trash can after it left me stranded.

That would be an easy reach from inside the car IF one leaves the floor board out.

I just disconnect the battery. I modified the new floor boards so I have an extra large hole, just pop it up and loosen the nut and off the cable comes.
