Model 40 Cowl Vent Handle Question
I installed the dash panel into my '33 roadster, but had to remove the cowl vent handle to make it fit.
It appears that the handle needs to be "L" shaped to clear the dash. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a specific handle for the roadster? Dave Last edited by Hairycanary; 05-02-2019 at 10:45 AM. Reason: Too many spaces |

Re: Model 40 Cowl Vent Handle Question
All '33-'34 passenger car cowl vent handle were originally the same and they do have a bend in them near the threaded end of about 45 degrees.

Re: Model 40 Cowl Vent Handle Question
Sounds like you have a handle from a '32 or 33-34 truck.

Thanks David. Mine does have a bend near the threaded end, but not enough to clear the roadster dash. Perhaps the cowl vent bracket has a different angle for the handle to clear? |
