Re: Natural spoke wheels
Untill about 1925 or 1926 no Ford had natural spoke wheels. About 1925 or 26 natural spoke wheels were a dealer installed option.

Re: Natural spoke wheels
I did not state my question clearly . I was wondering when the Natural Finished spoke wheel ended and the black painted spokes started .

Re: Natural spoke wheels
Ok I think I know what you are asking. ALL Ford wood wheels were assembled then painted or dipped in a paint vat and spun. So the only part that did not get coated with paint was between spokes at and behind the hub plates and maybe the little bit were the tenon passed thru the fellow.
Just to be sure; NO Ford was shipped from the factory with un painted wheels.

Re: Natural spoke wheels
Thanks. It seems all the brass Ts have seen had the black paint removed from the wooden spokes .
