My questions are How many Ham/Model A operators are there.

Is there any interest in try to get operators and repeater sites published the the member list?

Been a Ham since 1962. Ran 2 meter rig in x country Model A trip in 1990, Portsmouth NH to San Francisco Ca. That was FUN!

I have a hand held one with 8 Watt output for when fishing in remote areas of Arizona as there are repeaters in areas where cell phone service is on existent. KG7SPV

Haven't done mobile for a long time. Had a modified Marconi taxi radio (tube) as first 2m FM rig, which supplanted my Heath Twoer on 2m AM. Nowadays I use a KX3 for HF but lately haven't been doing much at all on the air.

Been licensed since 1963 WA0FUD. Unfortunately ruined a really great hobby by turning it into a job, 4 years Navy, radio station engineer, railroad electronic tech 39 years. BUT now think it might be nice to get back to old hobby now that I'm retired. Would certainly be interesting to have something in common (model As) to talk about on the air. Also was a previous Model Aer 1975-78, sold car due to family obligations, bought a 31 slant in 2011 and now trying to get up to speed with that.

KC0REK here. I have a small dual band handheld but haven't really been on air in years. I just don't seem to have the time lately. One of these days I'd like to get back into it some more.

This is k8ar. I have been licensed since 1970. Yikes. Love to build electronic kits and work on my 1930 coupe and 29 roadster pickup. Located in Michigan en Kan ook hollands spreken Rene.

In my younger years I was very interested in Amateur Radio. Even took the classes to become one, but couldn't quite master Morse Code. Even built a practice key set from an antique telegraph key.

when I was in school I could never make the code test stick. But the club still let me work on antennas and participate.
Fast forward to 2014, got my Tech ticket and started to radiate. Then 6 months later my General ticket and started chasing DX, Last year Amateur Extra ticket and have DXCC application in.
It is never too late to start, the best part is the diversity of activity in HAM radio.
You can play with low band or chase satellites.
If you can find a way to make a Tarheel ant look like it belongs on a Vicky, you can probably fit in a nice little amp too.
