Headlight Bar to Fender Pad?
Was there any type of material between the headlight bar and the fenders at the point of attachment on the original cars (May 1929)?
Thank you - Hunter |

No, but some electrical tape on the headlight bar may help to not scratch the paint on your fenders while you're assembling it and won't show later.

Re: Headlight Bar to Fender Pad?
The direct contact is part of your ground path for the lights.
Make sure you scrap the paint off where the bar contacts. Putting the rubber in place will only cause problems. I know with the 30-31 bars there are bumps on the mounts and you should be able to pass a business card all around the edges where it meets the fender. |
