SOON, there will be on my website under Additional Studies, a list of car/truck/cycle tunes that hit the Billboard Top 100 from 1955 thru 1976.

Right now I have about 45 songs, some named twice because they were listed in different years.

They are ranked in their order of popularity when they were on the air waves when you were listening to your favorite Rock and Roll raido station, if you listened to Rock and Roll.

They range from the most absolute car/truck/cycle songs to the songs with the slightest mention of a car/truck/ cycle. From the sounds of an engine to the sound of a horn...from the sound of wrecks to girls sitting in the back seat...from surfing to mountain passes...they are there. Unfortunatly for us the number one song does not deal with a FORD...Can you name it without looking it up? (No clues Deluxe Delivery Don)!

If there are other songs for which are not on the list (soon to be on my website), please let me know.

I did not include County Songs, well maybe a song or two that hit the R and R charts but maybe sometime.

So what songs do you remember? Maybe they are on the list...maybe not.

I have a 45 of the original "hot rod lincoln" song, not the one done by comander cody. I also saw the car at a hot rod show about 25 or more years ago.
