Obviously I respectfully disagree. For one of our finest outstanding members the effort has been very appropriate. The man has went through tremendous adversity and deserves our moral support and prayers.

X3 If we are getting questioned about quoting the Judging Standards by one of our members, I think this falls into the same category. We have to remember that this is an international forum. Posts not by Tom or his family about his medical condition are technically in violation of HIPPA regulations that protect just that, medical information. You are obviously not that close to Tom or his family otherwise you would probably be in the know on a regular basis. Like we have said before, let's say our individual prayers and hope that his condition improves, and he will be very pleased that on in international forum, that you appeared to care the most. I don't think we need to violate HIPPA which is a federal regulation.

On Jan 3, His collapsed lung has reinflated. They were unable to get him weened off the vent, so they are going to do a tracheotomy to help with the transition.

I am a member of the TCMAFC in Mn so this info is correct.

I thought HIPPA applied just to medical personnel and facilities involved in one's treatment. How can it apply to the general public?

P.S. I just checked several legal-type websites which state that HIPPA does NOT apply to the general public. So no laws have been violated on this forum!

I’m closing this for the third time. I won’t reopen it again. Those of you that know Tom can pm each other with updates.

Not sure why people argue over something like this… super weird fellas.
