Default Installing a winshield wiper arm and blade

This has got to be the easiest job on a Model A. I am using the 8 in. original style on a Victoria with a Trico blade. The arm seems fine but the blade is very loose on the bent wire arm. It is a major distraction while driving with the wind blowing the blade. Is the blade attachment supposed to be crimped to make it tighter?

Needs to be able to flip back and forth when it’s wiping.
