Default 30/31 steering brace on 28/29 roadster

Has anyone put the later steering brace on a 28/29 roadster? I'm sure it is common on the other cars, but with the thinner dash rail does it hide on the roadsters or not? Sure would like to see a picture of what you have if you have made it work. Or better yet, make another and sell it to me.

Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure the pictures in this post are of a roadster:

I installed one in Barry,s coupe. It required a spacer to line up correctly. It worked just fine.

PUNS are fun--My old Bantam Dragster had a home made center steering, mounted on 2 upside down connecting rods. I can still hear the trans, WHIRRING, between my legs
