Anyone recognize this part
I found 4 of these in the trunk of my 1940 ford sedan deluxe. Does anyone recognize what this part is and where it belongs.
Many thanks Sorry…need to figure out how to upload photos Last edited by carol ann; 06-28-2022 at 11:01 PM. Reason: Cannot upload the photos |

Re: Anyone recognize this part
Do a search, there are tons of threads on the subject. Use google, not the barn search engine, Try "post photo's fordbarn" or similar, I'll bet lots of results will show up

Hey carol .....Glad to post your pictures for you! The piece you show is the front side & rear side of an accessory BUMPER TIP for a 1940 Ford. As can be seen in the third picture, they mount onto the outer tips of a stock bumper. They really serve no actual function other than 'dress-up' items. They are available from several dealers as REPRODUCTION items. Coop . |

Hey Carol ....You got lucky this time, 'cuz I usually don't know squat! I DO know a little about posting pictures here on the 'Barn. Once you initially get the hang of it, it is NOT difficult at all, as some of these folks will have you believe. I posted a "picture-posting" tutorial that you'll find in the link BELOW. It sounds complicated at first, but only as I have attempted to be thorough and detailed. I can usually post a picture with about six clicks, five or six seconds each. Click the link BELOW!
