I headed out last night about 9:30 to avoid the traffic and heat. I don’t mind getting there early a day, but allows me time to take in a few sights along the way.

Joop, I would do that if it weren’t so dark. I’m sleeping in the daytime and driving at night. The heat and I don’t get along very well

Dennis, get an air conditioner from a vender there in TX. I don't feel an loss of power in my stock coop. I have shut it off on a hill and then turned it back on, no difference and the cab is cool all day. (or night if you wish.)

David, are you coming down? I met you 4 years ago in Sparks, NV. I enjoyed the book I got from you, was a great read. I really have to commend you for a lot.

I will be there tomorrow. I am flying in. I look forward to talking to a lot of friends, old and new. I will be Judging and holding a Victoria Association gathering/meeting. Look on the bulletin board for information on the meeting location and time.

Some great A's have showed up already. We processed about 75 registrations yesterday. We will be in full swing today. There is a total of about 320 registrations so it will be busy.

Got a chance to checkout the Burtz engine in Dennis’ classy Tudor. Dennis has added some nice accessories. Very nice setup.

Thanks Doug! It truly was an honor meeting you this past week and sharing conversation. I can honestly say I think the convention was a great success and was thrilled to meet a lot of MAFCA members. It’s been 4 long years since the last - let’s pray and hope the next won’t be that far away.

Thanks to the members of the Alamo A's for their efforts in hosting the 2022 MAFCA National Convention in Kerrville. It was great to see everyone once again and to associate a name with a face. Of the 320 registrations, there were 29 happy buyers who purchased the "New Engine Kit".

So sorry to have missed this convention again due to Covid.
Last one we attended was Sparks Nevada. We were all booked for the next one and never did get refunds for hotel and flights when it was cancelled.
And then Covid prevented all the overseas visitors from coming to our rally in Gisborne New Zealand last year. I think there were more than a dozen American cars coming over for it from memory.
Over 2 years down the drain from Covid so far. And at my age with bad lungs, I am nervous about getting on an a plane full of foreigners with possible flu or covid during our winter!
Covid has been replaced by flu in NZ and all hospitals are desperately overloaded here.
Hopefully next summer will yield up a more healthy environment.
Did anyone organise a Ford Barn pizza meeting like the great one Daveymc29 did in Sparks?
I got his coyote mountain book and enjoyed it too.
