Default What Water Pump do I have

Recently I found a a set of Aluminium heads and water pumps on a local Auction site . Supposed to be 1934 Photos weren't great but as they were cheap I brought them.

The heads look like 34 and in keeping with New Zealand have Ford and Made in Canada on them . However no Numbers on them .

One of the pumps Looks like a 34 but has no part number on it other than " 3 EP " The other doesn't look like 34 and has 68-8506 on it which I can't seem to find in my Green book ?? Any Help appreciated

Thanks Karl

Karl, you know '68' denotes 1936 model year don't you? Pump is 1936 version; has provision for temp sender.

35 and 36 Fords had the provision in the LH pump for the temp gauge. The RH pump, in 35-36,[your EP] is for all intents and purposes the same as your RH 34 pump [grease nipple orientation]

You have one of each; the one with the slanted grease fitting is a '36 and the one with the grease fitting perpendicular to the casting is a '33-'35.

To add my thoughts the 68- pump is a later style for service replacement on either side of the engine but it is made by Ford. As pointed out the 35 style pump may or may not have been made by ford. I believe the 33 and 34 pumps have a slightly different body but all three years have the lubrication fitting coming straight out of the casting.
