Default tool help

Would any one have a KR wilson or similar tool that you use to get the driveshaft bearing sleave out.
I need the outside diameter of it so I can make one.
thanks Lawrie

Lawrie, I cut the front of a torque tube off in order to measure that when I made a puller a while back. I still have it at work, I'll measure up and post the information tomorrow after I get home from my hard day of toil. Brian

Lawrie I saw a post or maybe a video on youtube where someone made their own tool. It did not look too hard to make, just a piece of tube with a short piece of rod sticking out at a slight angle, filed to shape.

This is the one I was thinking of:

The homemade tool in the video was made with a piece of 1" pipe, the pin was a piece of 1/4 -20 allthread ------feel free to change materials, once I made it with broomstick and nail

The diameter of the flipper on the end of the shaft is 1 9/16". Not sure if this is the measurement you need but it would be the most important. This is off a KRW puller.

I made one out of PVC and a brass screw. Cheap and easy to make and easy to use. That sleeve just 'snaps" in place and is not a tight fit. Next to last photos shows simple slide hammer with washers to remove old OEM seal. Wish you lived closer so I could send tool to you.

I saw that video mentioned above and decided PVC would work. That sleeve is not a tight fit at all as the sleeve is slotted and flexible.
