1951 Tudor Sedan steering column

I need help inspecting and reassembling the steering column, auto transmission on my ‘51 Tudor Sedan Custom. I’m in process of replacing the wiring harness on the car. I replaced the turn signal harness and I am ready to reassemble the column. I took a few pics but not enough. The issue is the 2 square head bolts at 12/6 positions along with the star washer and nuts. What part attaches to them? I either lost a part or my memory is slipping. I looked at the Assembly manual but it is not detailed enough. Does anyone have a source to show a detailed part diagram for the complete steering column, from gear box to wheel/ horn assembly? The small spring and tapered bushing look suspect. The replacement bushings I see in catalogs don’t resemble the on on my column.

Those 2 square head bolts just catch their edges into the 2 square holes in the outer column.

I see your not getting much response. I have a '51 that is completely original in the dash/steering column area that I can look over if you have any specific questions. It may or may not be of any help, because I am sure there are differences between manual and automatic columns. There is a member, "Lazarus Long" on here that is doing some work on a '51 with an automatic who may be able to provide more information.

Both the standard and auto turn signal housings mount to the column the same way.
The bolts are loosely assembled to the housings and the housing along with the bolts are pushed into place so that the edge of the bolt engages with the column to tighten.
