Default Winter car work 2017

Took my car off the road Nov. 6TH. Here's my Winter work list.
Some things are done, (been real busy), some things are in process - I/P, and some things are left to do.
Sure I'll be adding things along the way.
Hope to have the list complete by 1st day of spring 2018 (March 20th)

What's on your list?

• DONE-Rebuild Horn, rewire horn rod, install horn relay, install horn
• DONE-Repair speedometer
• DONE-Re-route headlight conduit/wires
• DONE-Install original dash light
• DONE-Install new seat sliders
• DONE-Weld seat frame, clean/prime seat frame
• DONE-Install luggage rack
• DONE-Change dash wiring
• DONE-Adjust doors RF. LF, RR, LR
• DONE-Weather strip doors LF, RF, LR, RR
• DONE-Cut off door striker plates RF. RR
• DONE-Install new striker plates RF. RR
• I/P-Install engine pans, paint pans
• I/P-Rebuild steering box
• I/P-Re-paint steering wheel
• Front end alignment
• Lube regulators, LF, RF, LR, RR, L/quart, R/quart
• Install lower door seals RF. LF, RR, LR
• I/P-Install running board mats
• Install insulation
• Install rear window block
• Install rear seat blocks
• Change water neck
• Re-torque head
• Install water pump thrust washer
• Install ID plate
• Install seat belts, front/rear
• Install new door panels LF, RF, LR, RR
• Adjust brakes, LF, RF, LR, RR
• I/P-Install brake anti-rattle LF, RF, LR, RR
• Lube wheel bearings, LF, RF, LR, RR *Rotate tires
• I/P-Install tranny re-fill tube
• Cut tranny access hole/install cover plate
• Drain/flush/refill tranny
• Drain/flush/refill rear end
• Oil change
WASH CAR...DRIVE AS NEEDED

Rip it all apart, chop the top off, lose interest and leave it out in the rain..no wait, this isn't a hotrod forum is it..Nah...engine build ongoing, here's the fifty cent static balance of half the rotating group



Nice block sleeved and exhaust seats,babbit fresh. finish it and the chassis by spring..should be a piece of cake, A true model a guy, the late Dick Wolpert built this chassis, though he is gone the quality of his work endures
