Which bolts where?
OK, I picked up this project with lots of parts and lots of hardware. Question is, how do I figure out where all the bolts are used? My son and I have been sizing/sorting bolts, but I don't have anything to tell me which size bolts go where. Any guidance?
Thanks! |

Which bolts where?
mountinpie,
I would recommend purchasing the 1928-1931 or 1928-1932 Ford Parts Price List. For example, if you look up the Oil Pan, the Pan is listed along with the cap screw and washer, as it turns out the Valve Cover bolts and washers are the same. In the back of the book, each piece of hardware is listed with valuable information such as length, thread, finish, etc. Hope this helps. Darryl in Fairbanks, 25 degrees |
