Installing new starter brushes
Is there an easy way to reassemble the starter and get the brushes installed correctly ? Working with 4 brushes is challenging….
Many thanks - Jim |

Re: Installing new starter brushes
I perch the brush spring on the corner of brush holder, with brushes hanging out the holes, put brushes in holders and use hook tool to lift springs in place after armature is in,I have also pulled brush out of holder and let spring push against side of brush, using hook tool to lift spring into proper position while seating brush into holder
