Default Fuel pump inlet/outlet port question: 18 degrees?

Question:

Does anyone know what degree the seats are for the inlet/outlet ports of a fuel pump? I'm planning on running flexible fuel hose until the car is sorted out.

I noticed that Stromberg sells fittings that have a 18 degree seat for the carb inlets. I'd assume the fuel pump fittings are the same.

Thought it would be best to use one with a machined seat vs. one with just a threaded nipple.

Does it matter on the fuel pump?

Tim..not sure what fuel pump, but: on my Flathead fuel pump with 1/2-20 that take the ford fittings , I ordered two taper fittings from Speedway for 5/16 flex fuel line. They worked fine. The part number is 91611064. I don't know what the taper is.

Part # 91611064
