Another gas gauge install question. Spinning as I tighten it
Hi All:
I went to snug up the gas gauge and the gauge itself is spinning as I try to snug up in the inner nut. I fooled with for about an hour and couldn't get it not to do that. Any thoughts as to what I'm doing wrong or how to stop it from spinning? Thanks, Tim |

Tim,
Are you using the proper tools to tighten it up? https://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/p...9367&cat=41753

You need two metal slip ring gaskets with a drop of oil between them. that will do the trick.
